New the second time around....!!

Postby Harride » 05 May 2012, 09:26

Hi,
This is my second time around, first time I joined the cohens team was 2010 I lost 35kgs and maintained my goal weight for over a year however I've come off track and have gained 30kg... How I could do this to myself I have no idea I'm so disgusted with myself I'm angry most of the time I feel so depressed. I need to stop all the negativity and start afresh and today is the day previously my efforts to rejoin have been ruined by my lack of willpower and commitment...
I see there are afew who are second or third timers hopefully we can all support each other and make it to our goal weights together...
I'm using my old program I simply can't see the point in spending further $$ for something I already have. It's up to me now to make this work!! :)
I look forward to chatting and supporting others.

Hi Harride

I'm here for second time round too. First lost 40 kg in 2009/2010 too, maintained for a year, only to fall pregnant......again and gained 30 of it back with my pregnancy!!!! Also frustrated, but decided to get a new program instead of trying the old one. My new one is very very different to my original, so if your old one doesn't work, then don't frustrate further, you might need to invest in a new one. Good news though.........7 weeks in, I've lost 12kg, so pretty happy overall!! Good luck, I wish you the best with your second time!!!!

There a few who enrol and get a new Program for one reason or another. Best to get a new Program as it is based on your current profile and works soooo well.

My old one was from 2006 and I am now over that magic 40 , so a wonderful friend gently told me that I needed to go and get a new program.....i had been trying on my old one and just couldn't stick to it. The new one has different weights for the proteins and veges, and to be honest some of it is about the commitment and having to go for blood tests and admitting that I needed to do this again. I lost 27kgs back then and didn't go to the bottom end of goal before re-feed - so will be doing that this time. I kept the weight off for a fair while and then went to Europe and started my fat factory up again.. Happy to say have been back on new program for 7 week and have lost 7 kgs.(a little slower than my first time, but still ok with that..)
Hope you go well on your program but don't discount that you may need to get a new one.....it not that expensive if you look at what you get in return!

Thanks all for your comments well I'm 6 days in on my old program and 5 kgs lighter... I think a lot of it has to do with your mind set... I'll stick with this and see how I go -:)

Hi I to am 2nd time I was 2kg away from refeed and went on holidays it's taken me 6 years to try again and have 30 kg to loose again and yes im angry at myself for making myself do it all again. Paid $$$ to rejoinas I tried doing my old program but found it to hard cause there was no blood test which meant I could deviate.
9 kg and it's only 4 weeks :)
